Meet the Owner: Zulma Pineda

Owner and mother Zulma Pineda knows the importance of family. Zulma moved from Chicago to Baton Rouge over a decade ago to become a part of her family business. Her involvement not only contributed to the success of the business, but also provided her with years of management experience.

Zulma eventually decided to shift her energy towards making a positive difference in the local community. With an active involvement in church and a love for kids, Zulma realized that helping children to grow was her calling. In February of 2011, she opened Animal Crackers Learning Center, making her dreams of leading children to a brighter future a reality.

Meet the Director: Brenda White

Our director Brenda is a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. She is a mother of two, as well as a proud grandmother. In keeping with our strong sense of family, Brenda’s youngest grandchild is also enrolled at Animal Crackers. Brenda will look after your children as though they were her very own.
Throughout most of her adult life, Brenda has been involved in both child care and early learning for children. Every child at Animal Crackers benefits from Brenda’s compassion and years of experience caring for children.
